Aldi just added some major new additions to its purse-friendly beauty range

Beauty on a budget.

From Urban Decay-esque eyeshadow palettes and charcoal face masks to Jo Malone-inspired goodies, Aldi has budget beauty nailed.

The supermarket is hoping to delight beauty buffs once more with the latest addition to its Lacura range.

The thrifty store is selling a £1.49 blending sponge, which looks uncannily similar to the £17 Beauty Blender, as well as a Moisture Complex Sheet Mask for £1.99.

The edgeless sponge has been designed to apply, buff and blend any liquid or cream formulation, promising to deliver an all-over smooth and seamless finish. The makers claim the droplet shape provides maximum control and quick and precise application. Sounds good to us!

The Moisture Complex Sheet Masks also come in three variants; pomegranate for sensitive skin, chamomile for dry and sensitive skin, and green tea for normal and combination skin.

Inspired by the Korean skincare regime, Aldi claim that your skin will be left super-hydrated in just 15 minutes. The 100% biodegradable bamboo fibres are infused with chamomile extract and hyaluronic acid for plump skin. Win.

Sheet masks are big business right now; you can't move for celebrities wearing them on Instagram.

Korea's most coveted import has quickly reached cult status in the beauty world and beyond, with skincare companies investing heavily in burgeoning technology. Traditional cotton and paper are now shelved with hydrogel or biocellulose sheet masks, while moisture heavy masks are now joined with clarifying, brightening and repairing versions, so we can't wait to try these purse-friendly versions.

Now that's what we call beauty on a budget.
