Spider-Man fans, we have some news! At Comic-Con in San Diego, it was announced that the Amazing Spider-Man spin-off film, Sinister Six, will be released in November 2016.
Unfortunately it was also revealed that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 has been pushed back by two years and will be released in 2018.
What!?! Why so long, guys?
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which was released in May, did pretty well at the box office (£414m), but it didn't do as well as its 2012 predecessor, which raked in a little bit more with £445m.
It has been widely rumoured that Andrew Garfield, who played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the first two films, will take on the role again in the third film.
There is also speculation that Dane DeHaan will carry on his role as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin.
We're excited about Sinister Six though, and it is thought it will focus on the six super villains from the Marvel universe and will be directed by Drew Goddard.

A new extended trailer for Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been released, and if you were thinking the movie franchise had lost its mojo, fear not, the new extended trailer looks absolutely ace.
Andrew Garfield is back playing Peter Parker, Emma Stone reprises Gwen Stacy, and Jamie Foxx takes on the brilliantly scary villain Electro.
While we do love all the flying through the air, and big ol' stunts, it's the sizzling chemistry between real-life couple Andrew and Emma that we adore.
The film hits cinemas 18 April 2014 - will YOU be going to see it? Tweet us .

Calling all Spider Man fans - the second instalment of the film starring Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, aka Hollywood's cutest and coolest couple, is coming next summer - and we've got the trailer to show you.
Hitting cinemas in April 2014,the follow-up sees Spidey fighting to protect New York from a whole host of villains including Jamie Foxx's Electro.
Fans of Stone and Garfield will be pleased to see the duo reunited for the film - speaking about working with his girlfriend, Andrew commented that Emma was a "unique talent", adding: "It's infuriating because I can't keep up with it. So it's beautiful to work with such an incredibly talented and wonderful person."
Whilst he's clearly a fan of his co-star, judging by the trailer, it looks like Garfield's wish that Spiderman would be gay in the next film of the franchise won't be happening. Earlier this year, he said:
"I was like, 'What if MJ is a dude...Why can't we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It's hardly even groundbreaking! So why can't he be gay? Why can't he be into boys?"
