Amber Rose and Kanye West have a turbulent relationship history. After splitting up in 2010 after two years of dating, the pair couldn't seem to just leave it at that and have been taking constant swipes at one another for the past seven years. Let us not forget last year's Twitter war where the pair flung near the knuckle insults at one another other for all the world to see.

Now, Amber Rose has explained how the relationship has affected her.

"In all of my relationships, I have been the one that's heartbroken," she said speaking to Complex Magazine's Everyday Struggle.

"I have never cheated on any of my boyfriends, and still have never said anything mean about Kanye... This is after six, seven years of constant bullying from him."

Rose then commented on the aftermath of Kanye releasing his 2010 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, in which he raps about her in tracks like 'Blame Game' and 'Hell of Life'.

She said: "At that point, I have no voice at all. I have a couple followers on Twitter, maybe, at that point. That’s an extreme form of bullying as well. To have such a huge voice to put out an album to say whatever the fuck you want... It’s a great part of history and hip-hop, and I’m happy to be a part of it, but during that time, it was not a great time for me. I’m famous and I’m broke, I don’t have any money, we weren’t married, he didn’t owe me shit, and I had to figure out what I was gonna do with the fame and with my life at the time.

"I had to take the heartbreak on top of it".

More darkly, Amber spoke about her struggles with suicidal thoughts: "If I was going to kill myself, I would have done it during those times."

Rose then made reference to last year's Twitter row which started after Wiz Khalifa (the father of Amber's child) vilified Kanye West for using the album name Waves, which references the rap style of rapper Max B. Kanye then went on a tirade against Khalifa, bringing in Amber Rose with tweets such as "You let a stripper trap you" and "I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years".

She told Everyday Struggle about her response: "You don't say nothing about my baby.

"I was quiet for so long. I could have got a reality show just off the fact that I was his girlfriend. I could have wrote a book just off the fact that I was his girlfriend. I said, 'You know what? I'm a real a** b***h'.

"I'mma take the high road and work my a** off, and I'm going to get everything I get on my own, so nobody can be like, 'Yo, I gave her that'."
