And the pop star proved just that on the latest edition of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. The (iconic) duo, shared a ride across Los Angeles and even stopped off at a Starbucks where the Late Late Show host carried Ariana to the counter, as she joked: "Hello. I'm Ariana Grande. I MUST be carried" in reference to a rumour that circulated about her online.
Ariana flashed her huge pear-shaped engagement ring from fiancé Pete Davidson, as they performed some of her most iconic discographies, and to say their harmonies were on point would be a total understatement. They did jokingly mention they were thinking of forming a band- and we're lowkey so ready for it to happen. Christina Aguilera, you've got competition here girl.
Musical impressions are one of many talents Ariana has, so obviously Corden convinced her to give us a little taster of one of the divas that helped her develop her own musical style - Celine Dion, and we were not disappointed.
She belted out 'It's all coming back to me' in the Canadian singer's iconic voice and the resemblance was nothing short of uncanny.
Even when Grande was still a teenager on Nickelodeon, she would film herself in her bedroom doing impressions, transitioning seamlessly from Britney to Judy Garland, and the videos going viral is what helped launch her career in pop.
At the end of the 13-minute video, they even busted out a Broadway-worthy rendition of 'Suddenly Seymour' from Little Shop of Horrors where Ariana gave us all a peek at her unreal vocal range. At least that's how we think we sound in the shower anyway.
