Model and body confidence advocate Ashley Graham helped four women overcome their insecurities as she directed them in a lingerie shoot for Glamour US.
The four women, all of different shapes and sizes, joined the 29-year-old Glamour US July cover star in ditching their robes and proudly showing off their bodies. As the women told Ashley their stories and opened up about their body confidence struggles, she couldn't hold the tears back.
Dishing out a bit of advice to one of the ladies, Ashley said: "I always feel like if I touch the part that's insecure, I look insecure, so I don't ever touch it. But the parts I love I remind myself."
She then revealed that she loves her breast and her hour-glass shape and encouraged the women to state what they loved the most about their own bodies before they all worked their magic for the camera.
Opening up about her own experiences in the industry, Ashley said: "Knowing one thing about yourself. Loving who you are, but then having someone say, "Oh no no we need to retouch that and take that out. That is what is wrong with society."
"We're not seeing or talking about insecurities that women go through. Then we're shining the light on the perfection of a woman."
Shortly after, the star gets teary as one of the women tells her that she helped her realise that the way her mind thinks she looks isn't the same thing as other people see.
"I'm about to cry because am thinking about all the young girls out there that are so insecure with their bodies, and then they're looking at you and saying, "If she can do it, I can do it," she said, before giving her a hug.
