If, like us, you'd rather sacrifice your sister than your bronzer, you're going to love spring's hottest hair trend.
In the fast-paced and fickle world of beauty, where trends come and go quicker than you can say "ombre", there's a new colouring technique you need to get acquainted with.
According to celebrity colourist, Amy Fish, who works at Larry King's salon, "bronzing" is all the rage for SS18.
As the name suggests, it's essentially using colour to emulate what bronzer does for skin.
Speaking to GLAMOUR, she explained: "Over the next few months, we're going to see everyone 'bronzing'. The look is all about embracing the warmer tones. So, brunettes can brighten their locks by lightening the areas from the root around the face, while blondes can soften their look by using softer hues."
In fact, Amy thinks the colouring technique will replace the ombre look that we've long coveted, adding: "The look breaks away from the beachy, lighter ends we've all been rocking for the last few seasons by bringing some lighter pieces higher.
"The look softens everyone's skintone and is super low-maintenance because it only requires root smudging."
