Whether you're familiar with Cardi B or not, you'll definitely have seen her name plastered all over Instagram after the GRAMMYs.
The 24-year-old US rapper, who exploded onto the Hip Hop scene with her catchy first release last year, had the internet in stitches with her red carpet antics.
Her appearance the awards comes after she officially became the first female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart (and knocked Taylor Swift off the number one spot) and got nominated for two Grammy Awards.
She was the talk of town at the GRAMMYs thanks to her hilarious anecdotes, which included her saying: 'I'm feeling good, I'm feeling nervous, overwhelmed - everything. Butterflies in my stomachache and vagina' when asked how she was feeling.

1. She has been nominated for two Grammys
Cardi has had a hell of a year. After the release of her chart-topping single, she's now received two Grammy nods. The rapper was nominated for the 'Best Rap Performance' and 'Best Rap Song' awards, and is the only female in both 2018 categories. 2. Cardi B isn't her real name
Cardi's real name is Belcalis Almanzar. Her parents nicknamed her Bacardi (yes, like the rum) which is where she took inspiration for the name 'Cardi B'. She is from the Bronx, New York and of Trinidadian and Dominican descent.
3. 'Bodak Yellow' was inspired by rapper Kodak Black
Plenty of fans have wondered why Cardi chose to name her debut hit 'Bodak Yellow', especially when she doesn't mention it once in the lyrics. However, she explained her reasons earlier this year saying, "I named it 'Bodak Yellow' because the flow of the song will remind you of a song that Kodak Black did called 'No Flockin'".
4. She started off as an Instagram star
In 2015, Cardi, who describes her personality as "humongous", went viral on social media as the internet fell in love with her hilariously controversial and straight-talking Instagram videos. She rode the Vine wave for a while and racked up a huge following, becoming the centre of funny memes, gifs and tweets.
5. Then rose to fame on reality TV show Love & Hip Hop
Cardi's Instagram success led to her being cast in US reality TV franchise Love & Hip Hop New York . She appeared in two seasons before quitting to focus on her music career.

6. She used to work as a stripper
Cardi has always been open about her past and having to work as a stripper to escape domestic abuse.
"I was poor as hell," she said in an interview. "I was living with my ex-boyfriend that was beating my ass, I had to drop out of school. I was like living with his mama [and] two pit bulls in one bedroom. It was cray."
She explained that the only way she made it out of that situation was by stripping and making her own money. "How was I going to leave if I only made $200 a week? Ain't no way," she said before admitting that stripping saved her life.

Cardi has gained a whole host of celebrity fans after dropping 'Bodak Yellow'. Drake loves her, Beyoncé loves her, J Cole recently praised her and even pop stars like Demi Lovato can't get enough of her. 8. She is engaged to Offset from rap trio Migos
The internet went crazy when Cardi's boyfriend Offset got down on one knee, pulled out a HUMONGOUS diamond ring (eight carats to be precise) and popped the question while the pair were on stage performing in front of thousands of people in Philadelphia.
