It’s no secret that us Brits have desperately been trying to adapt the Danish concept of “hygge” since it officially became the winter trend this year. And thanks to Coppa Club, we might just have nailed it.
The popular restaurant chain has upped its game this winter by setting up eight giant, custom-made igloos on the terrace of their Tower Bridge branch and Londoners are going crazy for it.
But we don’t blame them, just look at it…
Fully heated and covered in cute fairy lights, sheepskin blankets and decorative candles, each igloo oozes hygge (and that’s coming from a Dane, who doesn’t throw the word around lightly). Placed right by the Thames, incredible views of the city are an added extra.
But aside from getting the cosy festive feels, guests are spoilt for choice with Coppa Club’s range of Christmas cocktails, including the very delicious Spiced Berry Caipirissima and the Maple Old Fashioned. Both tried, tested and LOVED, perhaps a bit too much...
As for the food, the Christmas menu isn't just your usual mince pies and Turkey dishes. Instead, you can indulge in the likes of roasted seabass, slow cooked duck leg and blood orange polenta cake.
