If you think you’ve heard of the brand DECORTÉ before, you’re not going mad. The skincare brand is HUGE in Asia (their Hydration Boosting Serum is the number ONE serum in Japan. Which, if you know how obsessed the Japanese are with their skincare, is kind of a big deal) and launched here in the UK last year, with Kate Moss as the face. Famously tight-lipped, she raved “these products are amazing – I want more!”. And, to be fair, girl looks good.
This year they’re branching into colour cosmetics with three products: Dip in Glow - a creamy, hydrating, multi-use highlighter, Eye Glow Gem – a dewy, blendable eyeshadow available in 30 shades (30!), and The Rouge –a balmy, slick-and-go lipstick with 25 colours to pick from. With more products promised later in the year, DECORTÉ mean business.
Created to use with ease (the formulas are finger-application-friendly) and to emphasise healthy, glowing skin, we’re going to be highlighting our non-existent cheekbones and smoky-eyeing until someone SURELY mistakes us for Kate. (From a distance. If you close one eye and squint a little.) A girl can dream.
