Eddie Redmayne may have won an Oscar for his role in The Theory of Everything but after seeing Dani Dyer of Love Island fame fan girling him on the special celebrity edition of Gogglebox, his life was finally made. We will take the Oscar if it’s going, Eddie hun!
Eddie, who returns to the Fantastic Beasts franchise in The Grimes of Grindelwald as Newt Scamander, joined GLAMOUR’s Joshington Hosts to discuss his latest foray into the Wizarding World of JK Rowling.
When questioned on whether a reality TV show and Fantastic Beasts cross-over would work, Edie came alive, “what about Love Island! When we were filming this, Callum and I got really into!” Sat alongside a confused Jude Law who admitted he had, “no idea what this show is, Eddie mate you have got to get off Saturday night TV pal,” Eddie was bemused.
Eddie continued to say, “by the way, the other day, Dani Dyer, who is my favourite human being in the world, was nice about me on telly and it made my life. Literally, she’s the nation’s sweetheart and if it was the Oscar or Dani, it would be Dani every time!”
Gesturing to Jude Law in response, Eddie exclaimed, “he’s pretending; he loves them! She’s the mom! The one who is gently manipulating them all.”
Watch the video above for all the action, plus Ezra Miller pens a song to represent his love for his onscreen love interest, Claudia Kim, and the cast reveal what their witchcraft YouTube tutorials would look like. Prepare yourselves, it’s spellbinding…
