Emma Watson is giving Jennifer Lawrence a run for her money after the release of Disney's super production, Beauty and the Beast. Emma is expected to top this year's list of highest paid actresses, overtaking Jennifer's spot.
Jennifer has topped both 2015 and 2016's lists after banking 15 million dollars with the Hunger Games franchise. Emma, who made the list only in 2010 as the 14th highest paid actress with Harry Potter, wasn't expected to take the first position - she was reportedly paid $2.5 million for the role.
But Emma's manager seemed to know her worth. Aside from her salary she will receive a share of the movie's global earnings. At this moment, the Disney spin-off has already earned $750 million worldwide, $350 million alone in its opening weekend.
Setting her slice to approximately $15 million which, along with her guaranteed 2.5 million dollars, would overtake Jennifer Lawrence 15-million-dollar spot.
Beauty and the Beast was released March the 17th and is currently in cinemas.
