Megan Barton Hanson and Carly Rowena are joining GLAMOUR's #BlendOutBullying panel, here's how you can get involved...

It's going to be SO inspiring.

As much as we try to fight it, an undercurrent of judgement, trolling and discrimination still exists across social media. Although makeup should allow you to experiment and showcase your art, people within the beauty community are being judged for their style, talent and appearance and here at GLAMOUR UK, we’re taking a stand.

That's exactly why we launched #BlendOutBullying, which involves highlighting the worst thing anyone’s ever said to you online and owning it by putting those words on your face in makeup and blending them into a gorgeous makeup look.

Whether you use the words as contour, write a word on your lip and blend it in, or use concealer to cover up ink, it's all about taking back the power from the bullies and creating an inspiring video to encourage others to do the same. You may recall blogger viral video from December 2017, which showed her blending away the words 'fat' and 'pig' on her face to reveal a stunning makeup look, which has inspired the challenge at the heart of the campaign. There are many organisations that help provide support and advice to people struggling with online bullying, but one making waves at the moment is Anti-Bullying Pro, from the charity The Diana Award, who we’re partnering with for this campaign.

To celebrate our incredible new campaign, we'll be hosting our very own #BlendOutBullying panel talk with some amazing names. Hosted by our very own Josh Newis-Smith, Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson and influencers Ling KT and Carly Rowena will be engaging in an open discussion about the trolling they've faced online and why it's time to put an end to online beauty bullying.

The panel, which will be taking place at the e Nast College on Tuesday November 13 between 6-7pm, will be being broadcast on Wednesday at 5pm on GLAMOUR's Youtube and Facebook channels so make sure you tune in and share your very own #BlendOutBullying video.

We've had some amazing influencers and people get involved. Here are just a selection of all your amazing videos and selfies - keep them coming!

We've partnered with The Diana Award, an Anti-Bullying Programme that trains young people to tackle bullying and change culture. It costs just £5 to give young people access to resources so that they know what to do if they, or someone else is being bullied.
