Justice League star Henry Cavill became a talking point this week as fans discovered that the actor's moustache was removed with the use of CGI in the movie.

Cavill, who plays Superman in the super hero movie, was unable to shave his moustache during filming as he was working on Mission: Impossible 6 - in which he needed the facial hair - at the same time.

As a result, the makers of Justice League opted for a CGI solution and well, it didn't go unnoticed. Despite having spent a reported $25 million on blanking Cavill’s tash out of scenes, viewers couldn't help but notice how hilariously unnatural his face looked throughout the film.

Here are just a few of the reactions...

Henry Cavill's mustache could not be contained by mere human CGI

JUSTICE LEAGUE EXEC: We can just CGI Henry Cavill’s mustache out it will be fine and not look weird at all

— Dana Schwartz (@DanaSchwartzzz)

You can't tell but the digital effects artists managed to remove Henry Cavill's moustache for those close up scenes so he can talk like a human being and it won't look weird at all.

I don't understand the complaints. The cgi removal of Henry Cavill's mustache is barely noticeable.

Justice League premiered in cinemas on 17 November and has since received by critics and fans. The film, based on the comic of the same name, is directed by Zack Snyder and stars GLAMOUR's current cover star Gal Gadot.
