Along with their phones, passports and designer wardrobe, the A-listers are never caught leaving the house without one prized asset: Jen Atkin.
The celebrity hairdresser, who has 2.3m followers on , is the lady behind every Kardashian, Jenner and Hadid’s hair. As a regular feature on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jen is on-hand to tend to the tresses of the world’s glossiest stars. Oh, and she just so happens to be GLAMOUR’s resident hair columnist (lucky us).
We caught up with the celebrity groomer at Cannes Film Festival, where she was on hand to preen Bella Hadid’s hair to perfection at the Cannes x Magnum party - and we've gleaned a few handy hairstyle hacks.
A good head of hair is all about preparation for Jen, that's why she created her very own brand, Ouai, to use on her celebrity client's hair. She turned to her Ouai Curl Jelly to create Bella's daytime look, then blow dried her hair with the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer using a diffuser attachment on a medium / low heat.

Then she spritzed some Ouia Memory Mist all over her hair and wrapped small sections around a 19m Eideal Curlie iron (we'll be purchasing one immediately).

She then used a Blasx hair elastic to secure a half-up ponytail and finished with Vernon Francois Pure Fro Hold and Shine Serum.
Finally - and most intriguingly - she used a surprising beauty product to complete the look.
Jen filled in Bella's parting and hairline with eyebrow powder (talk about beauty multi-tasking!). Jen swears by the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pro Palette to achieve the look. We are definitely going to be trying this handy hair hack.
In between flying around the world to style the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Gigi and Bella Hadid's hair, Jen also managed to find the time to found her very own haircare line, OUAI in 2016. The digital-savvy brand was created to save women time with its multi-use products and supplements that work hand-in-hand to help women achieve hair health from the inside and out.
If that wasn't enough to keep her busy, Jen released her own range of Beauty Works hair extensions, her line of Chloe + Isabel hair accessories, and worked closely with Dyson to bring their innovative blowdryer, the Supersonic, to the market. Oh, and she runs digital magazine, ManeAddicts.com, in her free time; talk about a beauty boss! Read her ultimate hair mantras here and her top tips for styling every type of hair here.
