The Kardashian sisters have announced the closure of their Dash stores

KUWTK just won't be the same without all the drama that unfolded behind those windows...

20 Apr 2018

If you're a fan of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' you've probably heard a LOT about the DASH stores. Featured since the first series, we've seen Kim, Kourt and Khloé try their hand at retail. From Calabasas to Miami, the business grew as fast as the sisters rose to stardom.

The amount of times we've seen drama unfold because of the stores could have been its own TV show, and the spin-off about the DASH dolls was a moment too, although it didn't last as long as the *fourteen* seasons of KUWTK.

We've seen the sisters move cities, have babies, get married, get divorced, deal with baby daddy drama, deal with family drama, but you wouldn't go a season without a scene on the couches of DASH. They always had a *lot* going on (nowadays more than ever), so they finally decided it was time to say goodbye to our beloved DASH stores. It is truly the end of an era.

Kim took to her KKW app to announce the closure and thank everyone that was a fan of the stores: "After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our DASH stores. We opened our first store as a family in 2006 and since then we have made so many lifelong memories. From opening locations in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, to having our Dash Dolls spin-off show, it’s been such a huge part of our lives."

She continued: "We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on. We love our DASH Dolls and are so grateful for the amazing memories—and we have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone!"

The Kardashian sisters opened their first boutique in 2006, before they were even 'the Kardashians' and had a TV show. The first store was in there hometown of Calabasas, then they opened a boutique in Miami, as seen in Kourtney & Kim Take Miami; later came the NYC boutique in Soho, which was featured in Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons.

For those that are curious about what the DASH stores looked like, we've actually been to the Soho boutique and it was actually quite cool. The location is unbeatable, a prime spot in NYC, close to all the big names in fashion. The interiors were minimalist and featured black and white pictures of the sisters - they had a security guard and only a few people were allowed in at a time. The clothes were modern and a mix of sundresses, cool jackets, bodycon dresses, underwear and even expensive candles.

We now just have to wait and see what new business endeavours the sisters have in store - just not at the DASH store.
