Millie Mackintosh talks twerking & blagging at festivals

24 Jun 2014

Millie Mackintosh is a regular on the festival circuit these days - well she is married to the rapper Professor Green - and we won't lie, she gave us major FOMO back in April when she attended Coachella Festival in Palm Springs.

But the former-Made in Chelsea star, who is currently battling it out on Celebrity Masterchef, has now given her festival top tips - perfect for those who will be heading to Glastonbury THIS weekend.

First things first - Millie is all about the beauty prep! "Before you head off, get a good facial and body scrub and top it off with a gorgeous spray tan to make sure skin looks its best throughout." We couldn't agree more - a faux tan always helps, follow Millie's footsteps and head to - the Beauty Workshop in Selfridges do an excellent spray tan, if we do say so ourselves.

And Millie Mackintosh is all about the freebies, telling us: "There's usually stands around the venue offering freebies. Whether it's fun face-paint, hot henna tattoos, or lush hair and nail pop-up bars, make a pit-stop and do something a little bit wild!"

Actually, it's not just freebies - she's partial to a bit of blagging too! "I first blagged my way into a festival VIP area when I was 18 in Sydney's Good Vibrations Festival - best time ever! Everyone should attempt a cheeky blag at some point, you never know what could happen."

Naughty Millie.

Anyone who follows Millie on Instagram will know that she loves her food - often spotted tucking into a burger from time to time. "I LOVE street food so one of the best things about a festival for me is the amazing selection of street food vendors. Make sure you scope out some fried chicken, burritos, crepes, burgers or some yummy doughnuts."

You don't have to tell us twice, love.

We have to know Millie Mackintosh's top fashion tips though - we are fans of her after all. She's all about being organised: "It's always fun to arrive (slightly) fashionably late โ€ฆ Festivals are all about the outfits (they go hand in hand with the music!). I love people-watching, chilling out and checking out what cute outfits others have put together. Speaking of outfits, a change of clothes is a must when you're camping. You can't trust the weather so take a few different pieces and looks. A trendy hoodie is always a safe bet!

For Millie, she's currently loving the crochet and lace trend at the moment, and "something with a boho feel".

Not to forget the music, Millie reveals her top music picks: " I'm really excited to see, , and this summer. Dance moves are always iffy - when I'm listening to a bit of , I think I can twerk but end up dancing around like an idiot! But anything goes at festivals so make sure you dance like no one's watching.

A twerking Millie Mackintosh? Now this we HAVE to see.

But what's her worst part about being at a festival? "The end! Make sure you take plenty of pics along the way so you don't forget what an epic time you had."

So true! We'll be clutching a polaroid camera to capture all the fun - our cover star Alexa Chung loves hers.
