With her flawless, lit-from-within skin, Miranda Kerr is a walking advert for the healthy lifestyle she preaches. So what's her secret to supermodel skin? We quizzed the pregnant star on all things beauty and wellness to find out. From her penchant for noni oil to her secret cellulite-busting trick, we can all learn a thing or two from this model mother.
My morning beauty rituals for beating stretchmarks
Each morning I dry body brush. I find it’s the best way to get the circulation going and remove any dead skin cells. I start at the feet and move up the leg with quick strokes, then gently onto my arms (I like to brush towards the heart). I have my shower and apply a combination of and the all over, especially focusing on stretchmark-prone areas given I’m (quite!) pregnant.
My go-to skincare regime
I wash my face with , followed by the , (my new obsession) and Hydrating Moisturizer mixed with a couple drops of Noni Glow Face Oil for extra hydration. Given it’s winter, my skin is always prone to dehydration from heating and air conditioning.
In the evening I like to use the KORA Organics Cream Cleanser – and I double cleanse to ensure my make up is all removed, followed by a calming lavender mist. I give myself a little 3-5 minute facial massage at the same time to assist with lymphatic drainage.
My secret for keeping skin supple during pregnancy
I am very conscious of keeping my skin supple and moisturised throughout my pregnancy to minimise any stretch marks, so I make sure to apply the combination of Noni Glow Body Oil and Body Balm all over again. I also lightly spray my pillow with lavender mist to help me sleep.
I also exfoliate and mask three times a week, at the moment I’m testing a new product before it goes into production and I’m amazed with the results… I can’t wait to launch it in a few months!
The products I always have in my makeup bag for flawless, glowing skin
Healthy skin is the most beautiful skin, so make a start by investing in your skincare routine. My makeup is all about enhancing natural beauty, not covering it up!
My day-to-day go-to products are products are KORA Organics Tinted Day Cream, Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, RMS Mascara (just one coat), RMS Uncover UP in 22, KORA Organics Rose Quartz Luminizer on cheekbones, brow bones, cupid bow and inner eye (this helps create the illusion of wider, brighter eyes) and Dior Lip Glow.
The secret oil I use to achieve bright eyes
Other than sleep, I’m absolutely obsessed with Kahai Oil, which a key ingredient in my new , it is a natural retinol that helps improve elasticity and smooth fine lines. It includes Coffee seed oil also to revitalises and reduce puffiness, tomato fruit extract to brightens the eye area and, of course, my hero ingredient of noni fruit extract contains over 100 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
My low-maintenance approach to haircare
The gentle workout that's getting me through my pregnancy
At the moment, given my stage of pregnancy, it’s all about gentle, low impact exercise such as walking, yoga and pilates. I try and stay as active as possible during the day but some days I just feel like I need to rest, so that’s OK too - and I do, happily!
The quirky superfood powder that keeps me healthy
I’m pregnant at the moment so, in consultation with my healthcare professional, I’m taking supplements to support the baby’s development. I’m also taking my KORA Organics Noni Glow Skinfood supplement, which launched last year. It’s a water soluble superfood powder packaged into single serve sachets, so it’s perfect for travelling and contains all my essential vitamins and minerals from Noni, Acai, Blueberry, Mangosteen, Pomegranate, Matcha Green Tea, Rosehip, Chlorella and Elderberry Flower. I love this product because it’s easy to use on the go and provides me with an extra boost of energy whenever I need it.
My favourite budget beauty hack
I swear by magnesium and Epsom salts. I love adding them to my bath for a relaxing and detoxing experience, and also cold pressed, organic coconut oil, which has a multitude of uses!
The best beauty tip anyone has ever give me
Rather than from another celebrity, the best beauty tip I received came from my grandmother, and it was to hold yourself with grace, poise and gratitude – and to smile.
