Pete Davidson's exes are having very relatable reactions to his engagement to Ariana Grande

Let me paint you a picture: You're dating someone for two years. Then you break up, and shortly after, this person starts seeing someone else. Fast-forward to about a month later: Your ex and this new person are now engaged. Wild, right? Well, that's what Pete Davidson's exes are going through right now following his engagement to Ariana Grande. Oh yeah, if you're just now logging onto the Internet this week: Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are reportedly engaged after dating for roughly a month.

But back in 2015, comedian Carly Aquilino and Davidson dated for a large chunk of time. Interview magazine called Aquilino Davidson's girlfriend in February 2015, and they were still going strong in October 2015 — according to — so it's safe to assume they were together for at least a year.

So naturally, Aquilino has some feelings about Davidson's quick engagement to Grande. The Girl Code star posted a text exchange to her Instagram Story yesterday that seemed to be about her ex: "I know I'm the 9 billionth person to text you about this, but…I can't," someone texted Aquilino. Sure, this could be about anything—but the timing is suspicious. What else would "9 billion" people be texting Aquilino about on the day news breaks her ex is engaged to one of the biggest pop stars on the planet?

"HAHHAHAHAAH," is all Aquilino responded with, alongside the caption "My day in a text message." If this is about Grande and Davidson, all I can say is "same." If my ex moved on this fast with someone else, the only thing I could muster would be a laugh too.

Oh, and wine — which is what Cazzie David, Davidson's most recent ex, posted about on Instagram right after the Grande news came out. "Came to wine country a person, leaving a human bottle of wine," she wrote. Of course, it's possible David's post has nothing to do with Grande and Davidson, but the subject matter is relatable regardless. Literally, give me all the wine when my future boyfriend and I break up after two years and he proposes to a singer he's dated for a month.

If David or Aquilino ever want to drink wine and laugh about this situation together, I'd love to join.

Props to both ladies for staying cool, calm and relatable.
