We already know that Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are the ultimate couple goals and when Serena gave birth to their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. in September 2017, they became total family goals.
Little Olympia turned one this week but as a Jehovah’s Witness, Serena didn't celebrate her daughter's birthday and while her husband isn't a Jehovah’s Witness himself, he supports his wife in her decision.
So, when he took to Instagram to share a totally adorable photo of the little one with the caption: "1 year ago today, you changed our lives forever, @olympiaohanian 🎉 my adventure princess", fans had something to say.
People took to the comments section to say how sad they were that Olympia wouldn't enjoy a birthday party but Alexis had *the* best response.
He wrote: "I’m not a Witness, but I considered how made up it all is: the purpose of celebrating a birthday is to celebrate life with the people who love you (and to eat cake). This baby is loved and will get to celebrate life with people who love her *plenty* of times, with plenty of parties (and eat cake — in moderation) throughout her life."
That told them!
If we needed any more proof that little Olympia takes after her mama, Serena's most recent Instagram post will do the trick...
Sigh. We'll never stop obsessing over this perfect little family. Remember when Alexis Sr bought four billboards to thank Serena for being the greatest mother of all time?
Alexis took to Twitter to share images of the billboards and, of course, swooning ensued. The Twitter fandom and Redditors lost it as Alexis explained he designed the billboards himself "with some help from Jr." They read: "Greatest, Momma, Of all time, Serena Williams G.M.O.A.T."
To which Serena replied: “Literally am crying. This is so sweet. I love you.”
The homage was made by Serena's hubby to welcome her back to tennis. The star recently returned to the pitches, playing doubles in the first round of the Fed Cup in the US - and, yes, their baby girl was in the stands watching.
The couple welcomed their firstborn, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., on September 1st last year. Not long after, in November, Serena and Alexis Sr. decided to tie the knot in front of family and friends in the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center.
That month, the 35-year-old tennis champ gave the first glimpse of the baby on social media. She shared a series of videos of her pregnancy and ended with a clip of the baby. She also posted a photo of them cuddling.
During the pregnancy, the couple shared lots of cute pregnancy photos, and back in June, Serena bared all for a cover shoot and, naturally, looked incredible.
“If you would have told me last year in October or November that I would have a baby, not be pregnant but have a baby, I would have thought you were the biggest liar in the world," Serena told Vanity Fair. "This is kind of how I am right now. This is happening sooner than later, and it’s going by so fast.”
She also revealed that she announced her pregnancy to her fiancé by handing him a paper bag containing six positive pregnancy tests.
As for her fans, Serena shared the news of her pregnancy via an Instagram story, stating that she was 20 weeks along. Posing in a yellow swimsuit, the 35-year-old showed off her blooming bump in a mirror selfie.
She then posted a sweet message to her then, unborn child, writing on Instagram: "My Dearest Baby, You gave me the strength I didn’t know I had. You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace. I can't wait to meet you. I can't wait for you to join the players box next year. But most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you.... once again today.
