If there's one thing that's synonymous with the name Elle Macpherson, it's got to be those supermodel legs. The 54-year-old is magically unable to age, so of course, we're all intrigued by the regime she follows to keep herself looking as stunning as ever.
Luckily for us, she's pretty open about the green juices, exercise and treatments she's into so if we follow in her footsteps, maybe one day we can miraculously add three metres on to our legs and be as sleek as she is.
Her most recent reveal comes from her column, where she talks all things legs.
"As I have got older, I have found that the best way to tone my legs is by drinking lots of water, doing yoga (I like vinyasa flow), sleeping properly (seven to eight hours for me) and having regular infrared saunas. Focusing on being ‘body alkaline’ makes a huge difference too."
"Apparently, diet effects the look and feel of legs. In the past when I have had sugar, salt and wheat, my legs have looked heavier. When my diet is predominantly alkaline and I am eating mainly vegetables and drinking a lot of water, the shape of my legs changes for sure."
Elle explains that she sticks to "a plant-based diet free of sugar and wheat" and has "two teaspoons of Super Elixir Greens every morning and afternoon".
To aid with fluid retention, Elle swears by lying on the floor and stretching her legs up against a wall - super simple but it clearly works. She also recommends body scrubbing, hot and cold showers, infrared saunas and a good moisturiser.
So there you have it - legs 11, here we come.
