It's fair to say that skincare is getting complicated, there are 10-step routines, all sorts of acids and serums, light treatments and bubbly face masks. While we're by no means complaining about the abundance of beauty solutions on the market, sometimes you need to strip it all back and have just one hero product that you can trust to get the job done.
That's how our obsession with The Ordinary started. The brand offers clean and simple products that work and don't break the bank. And the cult brand seems to be on a winning steak, having announced this week that they'll be branching out into haircare with a hair serum (the Multi-Peptide Serum For Hair Density, retailing at £15.80, if you're asking).

Now, brand founder, Brandon Truaxe, has announced on Deciem's Instagram that the newness doesn't stop there. The Ordinary will launch a range of cleansers, as Brandon says in his video "many cleansers", that have never-before-seen formulas.
"The first one is a salicylic 2% with activated charcoal. There’s also going to be a 10% salicylic acid (US only, unfortunately) and there is a 10% azelaic acid cleanser that will help with redness. There’s a squalene oil-based cleanser gel which is fantastic and a few other oil cleansers," he continued.
Brandon goes on to try the new product out of its unofficial packaging. There's no release date yet and it seems like we'll have to wait a little longer to find out about the whole range - but we're keeping our eyes peeled.
As we mentioned before, it's always great when you can rely on one hero product that gets the job done - and by the looks of it, we've just found our new one...
