Miranda Kerr Miranda Kerr's Style CV She's got style... By Hannah Lyons Powell 26 May 2016 From teen model to global supermodel, we chart the changing style of Miranda Kerr... Miranda Kerr started modelling at the tender age of 13. She won the annual Dolly Magazine/Impulse Model competition in 1997 and was flown to Sydney a week before her 14th birthday to shoot for the magazine. But the beginnings of her career were not without drama as upon Kerr's win, local media expressed "concerned outrage" at her young age. www.nl.ua/ru/mebel/kuhnya/stoly читать далее 13.ua здесь Fast-forward to 2005 though and Miranda Kerr was a model in New York City, co-owner of the hip Bowery Ballroom and the face of Maybelline Cosmetics. Working a distinctly mid-Noughties denim skirt look here, Kerr's now-signature fully-loaded curls were nowhere to be seen and in their place was a more beachy aesthetic. A fashion foreshadow of things to come, Miranda Kerr looked utterly fabulous in this gorgeous Marilyn Monroe-inspired printed sun dress. We'll give the plastic see-through shoes a miss, though. At an Australian event in New York in 2008, Miranda also started getting into her red carpet stride with this glitzy column dress. Whilst on initially seeing this photo we thought that Miranda's hat was actually the giant black umbrella behind her, we can clearly see that Ms. Kerr wasn't wearing the world's most giant fascinator for a day at the races in Sydney in 2008. That aside, the black Prada outfit was another chic turn from the model. For the British GQ Men of the Year Awards in London just a couple of months later, Miranda ensured all eyes were on her in this pretty, nude Burberry Prorsum dress. As 2008 came to a close though, Miranda Kerr was fully ensconced in the world of Victoria's Secret having been made an angel earlier that year. For a store opening in New York, the brunette bombshell got her now-trademarked side-swept curled 'do and a killer red Hervé Léger bandage dress, to boot. Working the same 'do the following day for a TV appearance, Miranda toned down the second-skin dresses for a simple and elegant blazer, heels and jeans combo. Fast forward a few months though and the glossy, polished red carpet looks were back in the form of this tailored tangerine dress. But at the 2009 Met Ball Gala where the theme was "The Model as Muse", Miranda turned her signature red carpet looks on their head with this barely-there, daring, cutaway and totally fringed dress by Jil Sander - complete with gorgeous fashion-forward hair and a sultry smoky eye, natch. After a show-stopping Met Ball appearance, Miranda attended a Louis Vuitton event not long after and she went for this cutesy silk and ruffled dress. However, the metallic clutch and open-toed heels failed to hit the mark. Showing off her assets at the ESPY Awards 2009 in LA, Miranda worked a vintage-Hollywood-inspired outfit in a floor-sweeping white dress from Calvin Klein with a plunging back, teamed with metallic accessories, side-swept waves and bright red lipstick for a glamorous look. At a New York Fashion Week dinner for Calvin Klein, Miranda repped for the brand in this baby blue off-shoulder number. Come 2010 though and rumours were rife that Miranda and her boyfriend of two years, Orlando Bloom, were engaged. (We also very much liked this stripe dress and ankle boot combo, too.) Just days later though in April 2010, Miranda took to the red carpet alone in this ethereal white gown for a Christie's auction. Vamping it up for a Victoria's Secret party in the summer of 2010, Miranda put her famous curves to work in this high-shine strapless mini which she teamed with black heels and impossibly shiny hair. Working leather trousers, sky-high heels and woollies - despite being high summer in New York - Miranda Kerr looked every inch the supermodel on a shoot in the Big Apple. Showing off her enviably long and lean legs in a super cute onesie outfit that Taylor Swift would be proud of, Miranda Kerr could have just as easily been on a shoot in this snap of her walking around her adoptive home of New York in 2010. Having kept a low profile for a couple of months, it emerged that Miranda had tied the knot with long-term love Orlando Bloom and the two were pictured for the first time since marrying at LAX. At Milan Fashion Week a few weeks later though and it was revealed that Miranda was expecting the happy couple's first child in the New Year. Doing chic maternity wear from the outset, the model worked a frilly black mini and a strong beauty look. But the off-duty maternity looks were pretty super as well, with jeans and embellished knits the order of the day for winter in New York. Just five months after giving birth and Miranda garnered a fair few column inches at the 2011 Met Ball Gala in New York, for this tutu-tastic look by Marchesa. Somehow, the Aussie beauty managed to pull this look off but the shoes were just a bit of a stretch for some. Wowzer! Miranda Kerr looked smokin' in this risqué Michael Kors cutaway gown at a 2011 awards bash, channeling her fashion fabulousness with gold jewellery. Nothing says "whoa, mama" like leopard print Dolce & Gabbana - especially when you've got the curves of a Victoria's Secret angel like Miranda. Off-set to perfection with a boxy clutch, simple courts and sultry make-up, this was certainly one of Miranda's more daring looks. Teaming a monochromatic - and very daring gown - with a high rise top knot, Miranda proved exactly why she's one of the world's biggest supermodels! Bringing out her inner Grecian goddess with this oh-so-glamorous, floor-sweeping white dress, the Aussie model paired up the frock perfectly with gold accessories and a California tan. We've been looking to Miranda Kerr for instant style in the city inspiration for years for now. This look in 2012 was a style 101 on how to bring sass to tight jeans - simply add spiky heels, sunnies and a killer blow dry. But when the mercury rises, Miranda's look is all about the pretty summer dress - and she seldom puts a stiletto-clad wrong in that department. Who said a denim jacket couldn't look dressy? For a day out in chilly New York and with her cute mini skirt and killer accessories, Miranda Kerr's look is more chic than street here. Louis Vuitton's chessboard inspired collection in late 2012, saw a whole host of stars don the now-iconic print and Miranda proved how an all-over statement print can turn heads for all the right reasons. Last winter, cropped leather trousers were the style staple for any fashionista worth her salt and Miranda's trousers and simple pointed courts look is one of chicest and most effortless to channel of this tricky-to-navigate trend. 2013 was all about yellow statement red carpet moments and being a top model, it was little surprise to see Miranda getting in on all the action as well. This utterly gorgeous lemon yellow lace dress - as always - ticked all the boxes. Out and about in LA in the summer of 2013, Miranda's Panama hat, suede bag, flats and sunnies gave this look the wow factor. The epitome of chic summer style, Miranda looked positively show-stopping in this off-the-shoulder floral jumpsuit with a white leather bag and a smart chignon. Trust Miranda Kerr to nail the boyfriend jeans trend with typical chutzpah; the tailored suit jacket complete with loose-fitting tee and sharp accessories is the grown-up way to wear these bad boys. Louis Vuitton arm candy - optional. A repeat offender in the shoulder robing stakes, Miranda's number styling tip one would have to be in the art of draping your coat or jacket over your shoulders for an instant injection of chic. Just days after announcing her split from husband Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr stepped out in this simple yet oh-so-elegant ensemble. While there's nothing majorly exciting about the skinny jeans outfit here, the beauty of this perfectly pulled-together off-duty outfit is that it just looks so darn effortless. If you dare to do over-the-knee boots as Miranda Kerr (often) does, pairing them with simple blue jeans and a killer coat is a sure-fire way to keep the look on-trend and fuss-free. Fast-forward to 2014 and Miranda's got an airport style all her own and we're definitely ripping off this leather trouser and denim shirt look for easy-breezy one stop style! Miranda Kerr gave off a distinctly regal vibe as she channelled old Hollywood at the H&M show at Paris Fashion Week in early 2014. Miss Kerr reminded us why she is one of the most in-demand models of the now when she was snapped strutting the streets of NYC for a photo shoot. The Aussie model looked effortlessly cool in black skinnies, stripes and a cropped fringe jacket. Nice work if you can get it. If we had abs like M-Kerr, this lace crop top and pencil skirt combo is exactly what we’d be working on a night out. A bouffant ponytail, bow-detail heels and Swarovski jewels added a ladylike finish to the the model's look at a gala dinner hosted by Swarovski. We're pretty sure that jeans and a tank top have never looked this good. Err, thanks (not) Miranda Kerr for setting the barre on our staple wardrobe so friggin' high (- although we're totally investing in a drop-side tank top, stat!). If you're unsure how to dress for an important meeting in the hot heat of the city, just follow Miranda's immaculate lead. A simple black vest teamed with a patterned silk pencil skirt and pretty black heels... Flawless from every angle, we'll think you'll agree? A regular at Paris Fashion Week for as long as we can remember, Miranda Kerr zipped between shows in this figure hugging blue trouser and shirt combo which she styled out with fierce heels, big Aviator sunglasses and a shoulder-robed leather jacket. For a Stuart Weitzman cocktail party just hours later though, Miranda upped the fashion ante again in this asymmetric black LBD with lattice detail hem and a big chunky belt. The hair was also picture-perfect and high fashion thanks to that centre-parted voluminous style. Jetting into Tokyo's Narita airport and Miranda Kerr manages to look chic and cool despite having been on a plane for hours in this printed floral jumpsuit and shoulder robed leather jacket. Back at the airport again (she's one busy lady), Miranda wore a short pretty printed dress, waist belt and sophisticated cream coat thrown over her shoulders. Kerr makes a strong case for winter whites in her embellished gauze gown. Keeping it simple with a black blazer and camisole, Miranda elevates her look with these gold button detail jeans. We're in love. Miranda does smart and sophisticated like no other, right? We wish that we looked like Miranda while walking through an airport. Just imagine this buuuuuuut trackies and a (really) messy pony tail. Working a double denim look for a stroll around New York in May 2016. Note the frayed hem of her jeans - key for spring/summer 2016. Another strong spring look - leather trousers teamed with a simple white tee and a biker jacket.
