Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Growing up in Ontario, Justin taught himself to play various instruments, so his mum decided to upload his efforts on YouTube and MySpace. From here, the 'Bieber fever' grew and his fame online was such that the young teen was signed to Island Records, owned by R&B star Usher. In 2009, he released his debut EP, called 'My World', which was an immediate success, leading Bieber to became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
Since then, Bieber has performed for the likes of President Obama, and bagged himself several awards including the American Music Award for Artist of the Year in 2010 and 2012, a GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording for the song 'Where Are Ü Now' in 2016, and a Latin GRAMMY Award for Best Urban Fusion/Performance for the remix the ultimate hit of 2017, 'Despacito'.
