This London-born film and theatre actress is famous for starring in The Queen, Harry Potter and Skyfall. The daughter of a diplomat, she spent much of her childhood abroad, before going to boarding school in Hertfordshire and going on to study at the Drama Centre in London. This led to her career taking off on stage, as she performed in productions such as Blood Wedding, for which she won the Manchester Evening News Best Actress Award. Since then Helen has taken home numerous other awards such as a BAFTA for her performance in the 1995 film, Street Life, and a Broadcasting Press Guild Award, for her role in the TV Drama Series North Square (2000). The actress married Homeland star Damian Lewis, in 2007, and they have two children together. With job commitments across the globe, the pair divide their time between living in London and Los Angeles.
