Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner is an American actress who was born and raised in a conservative family in Texas and Virginia. In 1995, she went to work in a theatre in New York, earning just $150 a week as an understudy there. Her first on-camera appearance was in a made-for-TV movie called Zoya. In the late 90s, she also made brief appearances in individual episodes of Law & Order and Spin City. Her first movie role was as Ashton Kutcher's girlfriend in Dude, Where's My Car (2000). Garner eventually found fame through her role as CIA agent Sydney Bristow in drama series Alias. The series had five seasons from 2001 to 2006, during which time she also scored minor roles in movies such as Pearl Harbour (2001) and Catch Me If You Can (2002). She has also had several major roles in films, including Daredevil (2003), 13 Going On 30 (2004) and Juno (2007). Garner married actor Scott Foley in 2000, but separated from him in 2003, citing irreconcilable differences as her reason for the divorce. She also dated her Alias co-star Michael Vartan from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, Garner made her first public appearance with boyfriend and Daredevil co-star Ben Affleck. They later married, and had two daughters and a son together before separating in 2015.
