Nadine Coyle

Nadine Coyle auditioned for the Irish version of
Popstars in 2001. The judges, who included Louis Walsh,
were impressed by her performance and she won a place in the band,
Six. It quickly emerged however that 16-year-old Nadine had lied
about her age, saying she was 18, the minimum age requirement.
After she returned home, Louis Walsh encouraged Nadine to apply for
Popstars: The Rivals. She made it into the girls group,
Girls Aloud and their debut single Sound Of The Underground went on
to become the Christmas No1. The band following this success with a
string of hits including, I'll Stand By You, The
Promise
and Walk This Way, but decided to go on a
hiatus in 2009. Nadine released her first solo album, Insatiable,
in 2010. Following their individual projects, Girls Aloud announced
their reunion to mark the band's tenth anniversary. The girls
embarked on their Ten:The Hits Tour but split again following it's
conclusion in March 2013. As well as her music, Nadine has endorsed
Barbie, KitKat and Samsung. She dated Desperate Housewives
star Jesse Metcalfe and American footballer Jason Bell, to whom she
was engaged until their split in May 2011. In the Summer of 2013,
Nadine announced via Instagram that she was pregnant but is yet to
reveal the father's identity.
