Nick Grimshaw is a British radio and TV presenter. Born in Manchester, he studied at the University of Liverpool where he hosted his first radio slot. Nick moved to London and joined BBC radio in September 2007, as part of their youth strand Switch with Annie Mac. Then from August 2008 to May 2009 Grimshaw hosted Radio 1's Weekend Breakfast Show, and then moved to the 10pm-midnight show on BBC Radio 1 - a show that was previously hosted by John Peel. In July 2012 it was announced that Nick would replace Chris Moyles and become the new host of The Radio 1 Breakfast Show. Nick has also hosted the BBC Three panel show, Sweat the Small Stuff, since April 2013.
