Fashion Week not only serves up some serious fashion inspo, showcasing the latest trends from our favourite designers and emerging talent alike, but it also is a great indicator of the beauty trends we'll all be *obsessed* with next season.
As the final shows are hitting the runway in Paris, Global Senior Artist at MAC Cosmetics, Claire Mulleady, took GLAMOUR behind the scenes to capture all the colour-popping and show-stopping moments.
First up, neon lashes at Manish.
Hyper shades of pink, orange and green were created using (£16.50), mixed with the new It's Designer Art Library Palette (coming soon to the UK) and (£19) which were then hand-painted onto eyelashes. Just before the runway, the clothes were covered for protection, as loose pigments were blown over the models' faces to create a colourful dust effect. (Head to our to see it in action!) The end result? Burning Man meets Paris Fashion Week.
Next was Christian Wijnants, where some models sported pastel owl eyes that were traced on to reflect the shape of sunglasses. The shades of (£16.50) were chosen to match the fabrics: Pure White, Marin Ultra and Landscape Green.
And last, but very far from least, Claire took us backstage at Valli, where lashes were given the ultimate glitter glow-up.
Falsies were painted with silver pigment and silver glitter (aka saturated in sparkle), then applied upside down, just underneath the lower lashes.
(£22.50) was mixed with Prep & Prime Fix+ to be used as white eyeliner, which was applied as a floating crease, and then (£17) traced the top lash line to finish it all off.
Take a bow fashion month, you've outdone yourself this year.
